The Matrice 400 delivers exceptional performance, with up to 59 minutes of forward flight carrying a payload and 53 minutes of hover time. Ideal for extended operations such as search and rescue, firefighting, and large-scale mapping, it also detects and avoids major obstacles, including buildings and mountains, at speeds of up to 25 m/s.
The Matrice 400’s robust payload capacity supports a wide range of applications with ease. Capable of carrying up to 6 kg, it allows seamless switching between single and dual downward gimbals, with an additional third underside connector for greater flexibility. Four external E-Port V2 ports enable the aircraft to mount up to seven payloads simultaneously.

Aircraft Fusion Positioning
With rotating LiDAR, high-precision mmWave radar, and full-colour low-light fisheye sensors, the Matrice 400 achieves advanced omnidirectional sensing and strong positioning. It maintains stable flight near glass facades or turbine blades and can safely return from building edges, mountain bases, or bridge sides, even without an updated return point.

Full-Colour Vision Assist
Provides a real-time, accurate display of granular quantity, allowing for precise usage and refilling, effectively minimising waste. Automatic flow rate calibration and cloud-save operation templates, making spreading operation more accurate and convenient.

Airborne Relay Video Transmission
With its ten-antenna aircraft system and high-gain phased array antenna on the remote controller, the O4 Enterprise Enhanced Video Transmission System enables image transmission of up to 40 km. The Matrice 400 also supports the sub-2G frequency band and, when paired with two DJI Cellular Dongle 2 units, can automatically switch to the strongest carrier network, ensuring stable signals in both interference-prone urban settings and remote regions.

Power-Line-Level Obstacle Sensing
The Matrice 400’s obstacle sensing system combines rotating LiDAR, high-precision mmWave radar, and full-colour low-light fisheye sensors, delivering unmatched detection performance. It identifies small obstacles such as high-voltage power lines across mountainous terrain, even at night. Capable of penetrating rain and fog, it ensures safer operations in difficult weather conditions.
Smart Detection
Equipped with the Zenmuse H30 Series’ visible and thermal imaging, the Matrice 400 can detect vehicles, vessels, and people during search and rescue or routine missions. It supports switching to other payloads for broader applications, offers high-resolution grid photography, and delivers advanced tracking capabilities.

Real-Time Terrain Follow
The Matrice 400 supports Real-Time Terrain Follow in any horizontal direction, available in both manual and automated flight modes, to maintain a stable height above ground. In large-scale search and rescue operations, this ensures that ground subjects appear at a consistent size on the remote controller, reducing the need for zoom adjustments and improving efficiency. For mapping missions, it maintains a consistent ground sampling distance (GSD), delivering high-precision mapping data.

Takeoff and Landing on Ships
