Our RePL training enables you to become a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) certified remote pilot.
Upon successful completion, participants are awarded the RePL, allowing you to operate drones in controlled airspace for commercial activities.

Obtaining Your Remote Pilot Licence
There are two options available for completing the theory components of our RePL course. Participants can:

2. Attend via virtual classrooms from the comfort of your own home

FAQs
Anyone who wants to operate drones for work is required to hold a remote pilot licence and adhere to the Standard Operating Conditions laid out by CASA.
You don’t need to obtain a licence if you fly drones for leisure or other private purposes. Likewise, Sub 2kg aircraft are an Excluded Category and you won’t need a licence to operate one commercially.
Toll Uncrewed Systems offers a comprehensive Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) course from our training bases. Our RePL training course contains the skills and knowledge drone operators need to obtain RePL certification.
While recreational pilots aren’t required to hold a remote pilot licence, taking a course is a good way to get started.
The practical component of our training is conducted by experienced instructors at our operations base. Our practical training provides in-depth experience with a variety of drone platforms that are often used by employers.
The theoretical component of our course is available as face-to-face classes or through a virtual classroom. Participants also receive full access to all their training materials and documents through our dedicated online portal.

Anyone can apply for a remote pilot licence (RePL), but you only need one if you want to:
- be a remote pilot for an individual or business that holds a remotely piloted aircraft operator's certificate (ReOC)
- fly a drone or remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) that weighs more than 25 kg but less than 150 kg over your own land.
